Hey i live in Denmark and i want to distribute my app in the us store. But i read that i had to do some kinda taxes stuff. I'm only 14 years old so could you guys tell me a bit about it. Is it hard, and what do you have to do exactly.
Just kinda like a basic overview

You'll most likely need to fill in a self-assessment income tax return and pay a proportion of the money Apple sends you in taxes.

You're best off speaking to an accountant, or contacting your government's tax department to ask.

Also, being only 14, you may be too young to sell apps on the App Store. You should probably look into the minimum age Apple wants for Danes and you may need to get someone of proper age to be your registrant.

You should probably let him know to expect to do some paperwork then :)

Probably not, most likely it's just an extra self-assessment tax return form. I can't say I'm particularly knowledgeable on Danish tax law though, so you really do need to speak to someone in the know. Contacting your government's tax department to ask should be free.

Any answer you receive here in this forum is not guaranteed to be accurate. As jnic has suggested, you really do need to contact the proper authorities and get them to answer these kinds of questions.

I will, but i just thought it would be kinda weird talking to an accountant while im only 14 years old.

You should get your dad to call, since ultimately all these implications fall upon his shoulders, as he's the registered individual who "owns" the business. All you are really is the programmer.

When getting advice on a topic as serious as this, its probably not a good idea to ask questions on an Internet forum. You'll need to fill out paperwork and talk to the right people (i.e. accountants, attorneys, etc.) Each country has its own different rules.
