I just put a pre-order on Windows 7 Professional Upgrade (downgrading from Vista Ultimate) from Amazon, anyone else order Windows 7?

Games of course!!!! That's why!!! I'm gonna order the pro version.

There hasn't been a great exclusive mac game since Bubble Trouble!!!!!

My 3D software doesn't work very well in Fusion or Parallels

Me leave Mac for Windows...NEVER! or just maybe :rolleyes:

I ordered mine I have used both Macs & PC for years and need both. Neither platform is perfect and I love choices. BTW no emulation fr me give the raw power of both OS's

I'm just waiting for Windows XP to come out. I'm still using Windows 95.

I am thinking about it. Are there any upcoming games that require either Vista or 7? Is XP going to obsolete in the gaming realm next year?

I'm waiting for them to offer windows 7 ultimate for 60 bucks on theultimatesteal.com for students since I can still access my old college email.

Vista SP 2 is really perky in my virtual machines. I pre-ordered a copy of Windows 7 Home Premium for my tower. I'll still have XP Pro and Vista Ultimate for other purposes.

AMD really shines for virtualization performance right now. Maybe I'll get more RAM.

Win 7 looks pretty good, doesn't aggravate me near as much as previous offerings.

And looks like my company is fixing to make Outlook mandatory, so while I doubt I'll pre-order, I'll probably end up running it in virtualization. Kind of wish they had a basic version like Vista did.

I heard MS is waiting for apple to release the G5 powerbook so they can show that it runs on ppc macs too.
