Where do i go to enable ports and disable them

I downloaded Azureus, and on the tcp test when it ran the port 6881, it told me NAT Error how do i fix that. or what is a better port, please help

ports have to be forwarded in any firewall/router/wireless device.

You might also want to check that if your internal firewall is turned on. If it is then you need to add the port to the list. It's in Charing in System Preferences.

you can open whatever ports you want from System Preferences>Sharing>Firewall.

just make a new entry there and specify what ports you want open. that opens the ports on your Mac.

also if you have a router you'll need to open the ports on it as well, and forward them to your Mac.

you can also use different ports it doesn't really matter i think.
