mixing WAV files

I'm looking for a decent program to mix several WAV files together that have been imported from an external multitracker. I've looked at Audacity but it seems to have several bugs and crashes quite often.

Does GB enable several (at least 8) individualWAV files to be imported and adjusted (Pan, Effects etc) for mixdown??? Thanks.

The new 1.1 version of GB will do that but you must convert the wav files to mp3 or aif format. I don't think you can import wav files directly.
