Is it possible to develop an app that should be installed in a closed number of devices ?

I mean, I've to develop an app that would be installed on 10 Iphone or 10 Ipod Touch and would be an internal app. Is it possible ? Or I must enter the app on the app store ?

FWIW you might as well pay the $99 for the SDK and then distribute it Ad-Hoc to the 10 devices. Its much cheaper then paying for the enterprise licence

Have the group (if incorporated), or someone in the group (not necessarily a developer) apply for the standard iPhone developer program. Use their dev ADC login and certificate to install the app on any number less than 100 devices (including replacements and upgrades).
