Is there any way to convert wmv to mpg4. i have a file i want to watch, it keeps jittering all over the place though. its the sound quality more than anything. I've had this happen with either sound or picture quality before with other video codecs, and a conversion to mpg4 has always resolved the issue

ive tried playing it through vlc, but it wont work. i get the sound but no picture

If it's WMV 9 then you might be out of luck. I haven't found anything but Windows Media Player that plays those, and obviously WMP won't let you convert to a different format.
