I'm trying to download windows media player for mac, but it doesn't work. It looks like it's downloading, but it just comes up as a text edit box. Any suggestions?

Use iTunes instead or get Flip4Mac (http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/video/flip4macwindowsmediacomponentsforquicktime.html).
