View Full Version : When will Safari support XSLT ?

Will it ever? What version / release date?

I've wondered this myself, but I also believe that only IE for windows currently includes a built in XSLT processor (but i could be wrong).

is there a reason you need safari to support xslt? Are you using it for a web app? I recently did some xslt work and we performed the processing on the server side and delivered the client just html.

Even though I use Safari mostly, I wish that Microsoft would continue to develop IE for the Mac just for things like this.

IE for mac is a disaster, it doesn't even come close to rendering the same as it's windows counterpart. Its slow, its got poor css and javascript support. It adheres even less to standards than IE for windows. I'm glad to see it go.

I agree it's a disaster, but it actually has better CSS support than IE5/Windows, just not IE6.

Agreed, we no longer support IE5 with our web apps, my reference point was IE 6 Win. I should have specified.
