Hello,

I'm new to the forums, but I've been running my Pro with Windows XP for the last couple of years - the software for my job is windows based. I'd like to know if there is any way to enable the air port utility - essentially making my Pro a wireless base station through XP? I'd like to set up a wireless network to use with my iPhone. It's so simple to set up through Leopard, but I'm completely clueless with XP.

Thanks,

David

Are you on VMWare Fusion, Parallel, or bootcamp?

Are you taking a physical machine? If so you can use internet sharing from OS X

I'm running boot camp. Are you saying I can enable the internet sharing through OS and then reboot into XP and it'll still work?

No. You can setup a ad-hoc network with XP. Then you need to do Internet Connection Sharing which bridges your wired connection to your wireless.

Are you talking about sharing the internet connection of your computer or just setting up an Airport router on XP?

The latter can easily be done on XP.
