Mobile Me & Verizon Mobile Email

I got a new LG env3 yesterday and I would like to get my emails to the phone via Verizon's Mobile Email. It doesnt list on the sight that you can use MobileMe. Does anyone know if I can use my MobileMe with VZ's Mobile email?

I actually just asked that same question today at the verizon store (I have an env2). They weren't exactly sure (because they are only retail associates), but said that since mobile me uses IMAP service it should work. Just use the settings you see in the preferences for Mail.app in the phone. I'm going to try this myself as soon as I get mobile email activated.

thanks for the reply... just beware that even if you subscribe to the mobile email you will still be charged for data usage. I didnt realize that and now Im glad I didnt get it...

I have my MobileMe account and my Verizon accounts set up in my Mail.app on my iMac and MacBook and they both sync perfectly with MobileMe. What do you need help with?

I just subscribed to a data package and Mobile Email. All you do is type in your email address and password and it fetches your mail for you (warning, I tried once and failed and just hit retry and it worked).

There you go, it also works with Gmail.
