I have a redhat server that I work from. How do I set my mac (OSX 10.3.4) to mount specified samba shares on boot? My *nix knowledge is fairly good, so long winded responses are fine with me!
thanks in advance!
MrJ
PS - not been around here much for months, what have i missed??

shoulda looked around a bit first, sorry.
For reference, try this: http://www.bombich.com/mactips/automount.html
works for SMB too, just use
url==smb://username:password@servername/sharepoint
instead

Is there a way to make this work for multiple users? Can the username be changed to $USER, like in the terminal? If not, how can I automount a share for multiple users?

I use Applescript for that.
