I have a macbook that will not run windows anymore. When I try to boot into windows xp it will hang on the splash screen with the blue bar indefinably. When I try to use safemode it also hangs.

However, the win partition does run fine when booted into another mac via firewire/target disk mode and it works when I'm using parallels.

The macbook in question will not boot any installation of windows xp from my other macbooks. I checked with 2 others.

Does anyone know what might be causing this and how to correct it?

btw, The installation of leopard works fine on the macbook that isn't starting win xp.

Thanks
