Game pads that work in snow leopard

Can anyone suggest an inexpensive game pad that works in snow leopard, or perhaps a driver for an xbox controller that works on a mac running snow leopard?
All of the ones I have seen discussed in other threads do not install on the mac.

There is generally nothing to 'install' on a mac. HID.
