why two restore disks?

I have a g5 that came with 2 restore disks. I had some corrupt files so i ran disk 1 "holding c down" and did the "erase and install" option. It never asked me for disk 2 whats on that?

other files like the Dev. Tools are on the 2nd disk as well as some print driver and extra fonts - stuff like that. maybe.

I misread the post and was needlessly snotty. Sorry. cb911 is right, if it never asked for disk 2 then it just has extra things you didn't install, like printer drivers.

You have 2 restore disks? Are they DVDs? I think I have 4 restore disks plus 2 for the OS.

Actually the second DVD isn't just developer tools, and it has nothing to do with print drivers. It is in fact where things like iLife 04 and classic environment live. Put in disk one and run the thing that says install software or something, halfway through it will want the second DVD.
