Maximum user account limit?
system profile info:
Mac OS X 10.5.8 ... Macbook ... 2Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo ... 160 gig hd ...
MacBook5,2 ... 2 gig ram

Is there a limit on the number of user accounts you can have?
...to use with Apache server?

< or does it just depend on the leftover hd space? ... if so how much space does each on take up? >

Is this OS X Server? or Just OS X?

If it's 10.5 server, there are 2 licenses, 10 and unlimited. If it's 10.6 server, there is 1 license, unlimited.

In OS X, as far as I know, there is no limit on User Accounts.

I also don't fully understand your question.

The Apache Server is the built-in web server software (included with OS X since Jaguar 10.2 I believe?) that allows you to activate and use Web Sharing. I don't think there is any limit on the number of user accounts allowed. It has nothing to do with the number of OS X licences authorized or the number of user accounts that can be created on each machine.

However if I may go out on a limb, based on your question I'm not sure you really understand what OS X Web Sharing is all about. There's a good explanation of what it is and how it works under OS X Help, or just Google it. :apple:
