What is the best viewer out there that is compatible with all formats of video/film clips? Quicktime doesn't seem to be able to play back half of the clips that I download! Windoze Player works occassionally. Any suggestions?
thnx!

Quicktime handles most formats well, but if you want to play AVI's download DIVX which has an AVI plugin for QT, some formats need there own separate player, so you may end up with Real Player, and Windows Media for some of the other formats.

I prefer mplayer.
Plays back everything i've thrown at it.
Only drawback is that it sucks for playing back dvds (doesnt show menus)

i do like mplayer best as well, i must admit. IMHO it just got the better post-processing (which is highly subjecitiv)

I use VLC, very good. Stay on top mode is great for surfing and watching everything (i say everything, because it plays literally every format I can think of).
