GTA San Andreas on early 2009 aluminum macbook w/o boot camp-options?

i've been doing a lot of research and modifications on my favorite game GTA San Andreas, which i currently run on the bootcamp side of my nice, shiny aluminum macbook :)

I have always wanted to run my custom GTA SA for PC as a Mac os x game, but can't find any support on the game that was given in 2009-which is when i got my current mac (Mid January 2009). The application is modded to run without a disk (i got the .exe on an online modification website called sannybuilder, whose main mod Cleo 3 and is well known and accepted in the GTA gaming community). it runs as a mod meaning u need to buy the disk to install the game. I modified it to be invincible and have super powers and to be riddick from the chronicles of riddick :cool: etc. lol

Here are the relevant specs of my mac as noted in system profiler:
-Mac OS X 10.6.1
-Intel Core 2 Duo: 2.4 GHz
-Memory: 2 GB
-DVD +/- RW
-NVIDIA GeForce 9400M-256 MB
-250 GB Hard Drive (70 GB free w/o boot camp)
-Air Port Extreme card

Here are the recommended requirements to run the pc version of the game:
-Intel Pentium 4 or AMD Athlon XP processor
-384MB(+) of RAM
-16x DVD-ROM drive
-4.7 GB of free space for a full install
-128MB Video Card with DirectX 9 compatible drivers
-DirectX 9 compatible Surround Sound Card
-Game pad with twin axis analog controls (USB or Joystick Port)
-Keyboard & Mouse

I don't believe you can convert windows games to mac because it is a whole different operating system based on unix not windows. I don't see any particular question being asked in your thread.

i looked that up and it seems like a possible option...is there an open source alternative to cider???

Why don't you just partition your hard drive and put windows on it then you can play GTA on your mac.

I believe you can make a cider port of this game...at least there is a guy on Youtube who did that...
