memory upgrade DDR DIMM user slot

Does anyone know of a site where it shows you how to install an upgrade in the userslot(inside the dome) as i have looked and looked.
Also can anyone tell me if its recommended or should i just install in the customer slot underneath.

Assuming you're talking about an LCD iMac, this site (http://www.dailymac.com/content/editorials/lcdimacram.html) suggests it isn't a good idea to try it yourself.

yup, the 184-pin DIMM slot should only be accessed by an Apple certified technician.

the 200-pin SODIMM slot on the bottom of the computer is easy to access.
