Weaird sound when I put in AoE3

So I just got Age of Empires 3 like 5 minutes ago and whenever I put in the disk my computer makes this weird sound. I have all of the requirments except 64MB video card but I was told that doesn't matter. But I don't like the sound cause it's no normal. Then when I take out the disk it's fine again. Could someone help me please?

Is it the DVD drive that is making the noise?

I don't know whats making the sound. But I do have a DVD drive.

after i installed it the noise went away.

Now it's not opening up because I have 32 MB video card and it takes 64MB but my friend said this doesn't matter. Is there a patch or something that will make it work?
