Anyone know a good site that has free games for the ipod?
I'm looking for a more puzzle/card type game.

AFAIK, there are no games available for the iPod. About the only applications for the iPod are news/website readers and various hacks to display text. But nothing for gaming, sorry.

There was an April fools joke where a guy claimed that he ported Doom or was it Castle Wolfenstein to the iPod, complete with (fake) screenshots.

There is at least one 3rd party game available, but it's a text-adventure game: you're presented with a scenario and a series of options. Select one and you're taken to the next scenario. I don't have a link to hand though..

Apple hasn't released any kind of iPod SDK (indeed they've stated they have no plans to do so in the near future), and without that it would be difficult - and probably illegal - to try and reverse engineer it.
