Does anyone know how to uninstall the garage band jam pack ?

They're all in 1 folder. The easiest thing to do is hit command F in Finder and search for "Jam Pack". Your results will reveal 1 folder. Delete it.

if I do delete this folder - will there be any problems with GB ? I would like to find out before I delete the stuff.

Nope. No problems if you get rid of it. It'll update the listing when you open up Garageband.

unless you delete all the other stuff thats for GB in the library. I did that and after that GB isn't working any more.

Its not a big deal, because on my iBook G3 900MHz it didn't cut the mustard at all. But now I have 5 gigs more space on my harddrive I need for all the music I am ripping from my CDs, just ordered a 20gig iPod. My very first one.
