Hi
Can anyone tell me what i can use to boost the volume on my iPod. The only one I can find is www.espen.se but it seems only to be for windows users.
Many thanks

ok , I just found an older thread with the same question. Sorry I should have looked harder first! :o
Anyway, Ive tried to download ipodvolumebooster 1.0 from version tracker and also this link http://volumebooster.tangerine-soft.de/ I can't get either to work.
If anyone has the file or can download it can you stick it on my iDisk for me? (just my name)
Or if anyone has any other suggestions?
Thanks

why would you need more volume on your ipod? i don't understand...
i just got my first ipod (4G) and i think it can be way too loud for comfort if i turn it up all the way.

Becuase they live in the UK and the iPods sold there have volume restrictions that don't allow them to be as loud as the U.S> sold ones.

Exactly, it's an EU law
To be honest it didn't really need to be that much louder, but for my tastes it had to have just that little bit extra volume. I've just used the software and it's great now, in fact, if I have the volume all the way up it's too loud! Before I could have the volume right to the top and it wasn't loud enough.

Actually, I believe the volume limiting law is a French law, not an EU law. However, Apple decided to limit all the iPods sold in Europe, since it is easier than worrying about what iPods will go specifically to France versus the rest of Europe.

That makes sense.
Everything I had found previously said either it was an EU law or a French law, I saw nothing conclusive. However, I bet if I'd said it was a French law people would have replied saying "but your in the UK" :)
