The Sims 3 doesn't run

Hi everybody,

I have a problem with the Sims 3 .....after the installation, I have the blue window but doesn't start the game.
I have original game and I just tried to install it 2 times.
I just updated my macbook pro 17 unibody to Snow Leopard.

Glad you figured out the problem. Was it the software update that fixed it? How does it play on your unibody MBP and what do you have on the inside? I'm on a Blackbook with 4GB RAM and it lags every so often. Graphics are decent but not the best they could be.

For that matter, does anyone have Sims 3 on a 27" iMac? Definitely want to know how that looks; it's one of the reasons I'm asking Santa for one for XMas! Ha. Thx.
