New to Mac -- why can't I download any Hotmail attach. in Safari??

I use hotmail... whenever anyone sends me anything, and I go to download it (in Safari) I immediately get placed back to the initial hotmail sign-on screen?!?! It logs me out! So, I then open IE and do the same thing and the file downloads fine. What is up? How can I fix that?? I've searched Safari help but nothing...

This was a problem with Safari 1.0 and 1.1. If you haven't updated to Safari 1.2.2, do so now (using the "Software Update" selection under the Apple menu (top left corner of your screen).

I had this problem, but my downloads seem to work now that I've updated the software.
