I wrote the guitar part for this a long time ago, but have never really recorded anything of my own. So, firing up GarageBand, recording the guitar and adding some basic drums and effects was fun. (although, admittedly my timing is off in a few places) :)
The shaker is a loop, the other drum sounds are from GarageBand, the guitar is an old Ovation acoustic-electric.
Let me know what you think:

Excellent! Very mellow listen.... For some odd reason, sounds like it could be playing at the start of a movie, as the opening credits flash up.

That is pretty cool. Good work. I thought the exact same thing as jsw about the opening credits without even reading his post. At first it reminded me of a more upbeat and happy version of the guitaring in the beginning of Farenheit 9/11. (if anyone knows the name of that song id be interested)

Excellent excellent tune, i give it an A+ :D
yes i do agree that does sound like a movie title song typa deal. Sounds like something that should be at the beginning for a george clooney (spelling??) movie actually. Dont ask, but this song reminds me of from dusk till dawn......i dunno why.
