call of duty: modern warfare question.

hi, i just bought call of duty: modern warfare for mac.
and i was wondering if its possible to use a controller to play the game?

how do i set it up? i looked through the settings and options and cant find anything.

I'm curious, why would you want to use a 'controller' to play this game on a computer?

Wouldn't you be better off getting a console if you wanted to use a 'controller'?

when you arrive at the screen where u have to take out the guy from a distance, a message appears"to zoom in or out, hit forward or backwards"

What is forward and backward on the keyboard? thanks
