Go grab it here (http://netbeans.org/). NOTE: Per my earlier thread about NetBeans 6.7 and Snow Leopard, I have not tested the new release (or even looked at the release notes) yet on SL, so I don't know how it behaves. SL users - be aware that NetBeans 6.7 did not work well at all, and be ready just in case this new version misbehaves.

Glassfish 3 has also been released and the Java EE 6 spec has been finalised. So pretty big time for Java programmers.

Just found and reported a bug in the IDE... and it's a duplicate of an older bug, apparently. It says it's fixed but it isn't... :confused:

Anyway, NetBeans 6.8 is definitely better than 6.7 was. The new loading screen is really cool :D
