Hi everyone,

My mom just replaced her Windows PC with my dad's old G5 iMac. She would like to play Sudoku on it. Can anyone recommend a good Sudoku game for OS X? Free or commercial, it doesn't matter. It should just be easy to use, and maybe should be able to give hints if she gets stuck. Oh, and not the Sudoku widget; she's not too comfortable with computers and I think Dashboard will only confuse her.

Thanks!

Dashboard is quite easy its pretty much one click away as long as you set it up for her.

The Sudoku that comes with Big Bang Brain Games (http://freeverse.com/mac/product/?id=6003) is probably the most visually pleasing mac option. The other games included in the package are great, as well.

I might be wrong, but my initial impression is that the "diablo" difficulty on the Dashboard widget Sudoku game (http://www.apple.com/downloads/dashboard/games/sudokuwidget.html) is not as hard as the USA Today 5 Star Sudokus which maybe neither here or there depending on the level the person is playing.
