Yahoo Messenger has no content

I have Yahoo Messenger (yes, I also use iChat) and am using version 2.5.3 (build 1062).
It works just fine for chats, but the stocks, news and sports panes are blank. I've tried checking the application preferences and the "My Yahoo" online preferences and have come up with nothing that will rectify this.
Has anyone else experienced this and did you find a solution?

I've had the same situation for months. Sorry, I never came up with a good reason why its broken or how to fix it.

I've deleted & re-installed and have the same issues.
