I've had a recent loss of my screensavers on my iMac G5 (not the default ones, but all of the others when the 10.3.6 upgrade crashed my iMac). I have them backed up on my PB, but I started thinking about creating my own. Does anyone here know how to create these? I have tons of DV tapes with my own footage that I'd like to use to do this. Any apps out there that do it?....or can I use iMovie, QT, or something like that?
Thanks!

I found a screensaver that allows you to select QT movies from your HD and play them as screensavers....and it's free:

I'm also curious, but my guess is that it involves a fair amount of programming in something like Cocoa, Carbon, or Java... Check Apple's ADC for info.

Here's a way to create them, but it's pricey:

Go into Xcode, select New Project, select project type "Screen Saver" (under plug-ins), create!
Ok so I don't know where to go from there, but its a start!
