Safari problems since update

every time i click a link on a webpage, the new page starts to load and then stops. then, i must click reload in order to get the page to load. anyone else having this problem, or know how to fix it?

im using a 1.2 Ghz 12" iBook. i guess ill just be using firefox for now.

i too, am having this same problem. The only solution that i have found, is to temperarly use the newly released version 1.0 of Firefox.

Doesn't it seem odd that Firefox is so far more advanced than Safari, when Safari is at v1.2.4, while Firefox is just now at v1.0? But, Firefox does seem slower when it comes to loading pages, when compared to Safari.
