I have just ordered a new G4 1.33 Ghz ibook. The tech specs page on the Apple site says it uses PC2100 DdR RAM, but I've noticed that most places are selling PC2700 RAM for cheaper than the PC2100. So, my question is, will PC2700 work in this ibook? I'm kind fo confused about this, and Google doesn't turn up anything that answers my question.
Can anyone here tell me, please? Thanks!

It should work fine, but it will run at 2100 speeds rather than 2700.

Make sure you got the SODIMM. (Small Outline Dual Integrated Memory Module)
A DIMM is the bigger one. They are cheaper to make than a SODIMM.
Laptops tend to use SODIMM RAM chips, so that they can be smaller, lighter, and use less battery power. Desktops don't need to care about that.
