In Bootcamp? I see not reason why they shouldn't work.
In OS X? Well, PC cards don't work and probably never will.

Now about flashed cards... not sure anyone has tried with a 5850.

yes, as the thread below. if flashed then perhaps yes but just to buy it and stick it in and load up os x -> no
