So, I can't afford SSD at the moment. Maybe down the road I'll get one. For now I have to decide which drive to use for the OS. I ordered my MP hex with the 1TB drive (not sure what that drive is) and I also have a 640GB WD Black Caviar. Which one should I use for the OS?

boot it on the black caviar, it should have mildly better performance then the 1Tb ;)

That's what I thought.
On the other hand, what do you think about this drive (http://eshop.macsales.com/item/Other%20World%20Computing/SSDMX120/)? Enough for OSX and apps (Photoshop, Capture One, Final Cut Studio, MS Office)?

you could do that with the ssd just for the apps but space could get tight after 12-18 months depending on updates and other things.
sorry i aint fully ' up ' with ssds much lol i know there fast and kinda pricey but thats it lol

OWC also has a 60gb SSD for around $130 (this is what I have and i'm running with CS5) that would be more than enough for his OS/App/Lib/System and then he could put his user folder over on the Caviar Black
