I really like the PodSleevz. You CAN control it just fine right through the case, as claimed. And it sure polishes up the metal back :)
But I recommend also using a PDA screen protector on your iPod inside the case. (About $6/pack at Radio Shack.) You can get tiny scratches (grit? stitching?) from sliding the iPod in and out. So if you remove your iPod from the case a lot, extra protection is called for. (Same goes for other cases I'm sure--but they have a big hole for the wheel and tend to be firm rubber--so the chance for grit-scratching with them is far worse.)
