2011 iPod classic

In 2011 the iPod will celebrate its 10th year. I'm thinking Apple may keep the classic around and come 2011 merge the classic with a higher capacity touch, but there will be a 10th anniversary ipod. The look and fell will mock the first gen ipod from 2001, but be made with modern materials and have the modern firmware tweaked to mock the first 1.0 firmware.

Lets see what the 2010 Classic is first then we can speculate on the 2011 model at 3:00pm on Sept 1st.

Probably flash memory on the 2011 Classic? That is if flash memory costs cut dramatically by September 2011.

Yeah, Apple's "anniversary" releases have been kind of underwhelming - 20th Anniversary Mac, anyone?
