Can't duplicate photos since installed ilife '09

I use iphoto on my imac. since i installed ilife '09 last week, i can't duplicate photos. i have tried the keystrokes and going to photos/duplicate. neither way works.
i had no problems making photo duplicates w/my older ilife.

any suggestions?
 
When you say it doesn't work, is there an error message? Or does nothing happen? Is the menu option greyed out?

Also, have you tried creating a new iPhoto Library (hold the option key down while launching iPhoto) and puttng a couple of test images in, to see if the problem is still there?
