It's amazing how pundits feel dirty if they let an article go by without somehow predicting disaster for Apple:
Apple products have style and cool value - but is that brand value in danger if its products become ubiquitous?
In other words, Apple better not get too successful or they're doomed.

It is a fair thing to ask. How much of the "coolness" comes from that fact that not everyone has one? It's going to take a while to see if the current growth has a ceiling to it, since it's hard to guess at what people are thinking when they decide to buy stuff.

I've never yet seen a company sustain a profit by trying to minimize sales.
