MouseWorks and Thunderbird problems

Hi all. I've been setting up my 3.2GHz Quad Core, and have some software issues. Kensington's MouseWorks won't install, either from a clean download or by migration. So far their support haven't found a solution.

Also, something in my Thunderbird profile causes the application to crash on launching. Has anyone else found this? I will rebuild my profile in stages and see what happens.

Try (Kensington MouseWorks 3.0r1) software 32bit...

That's the version I've been trying, without success. I have isolated my Thunderbird problems to the local folders, so that's less of a problem.
