How to set up email in iAlertU?

I've searched the forums, google, and everywhere else, but I cannot, for the life of me, find how to set up my MobileMe email address with iAlertU.

There's 6 text fields. They are below.
1. Email to
2. Email from
3. Mail server
4. Port
5. Mail server username
6. Mail server password

Below the mail server option is a tick box that says "use SSL authentication".

Thinking it would be fairly easy to set up, I put my email address in both the email to and from fields. I put "mail.me.com" for the mail server, 993 for the port. I typed in my Me username and password, and ticked "use SSL authentication". When the alarm is triggered, I don't get an email.

Did I set up something wrong, or is this a bug?

Can confirm after much fiddling and not being able to send test email, turning OFF SSL & using port 587 & turning off firewall in System Preferences works perfectly!

I am just finding your response now, and it appears that all I had to change was the port and turn SSL off - I left my firewall on and it makes no difference. Thanks!
