Anyone try installing Parallels 5 on a Mac Pro Mid 2010? Half the way through the install (newest version, the installer prompts you to download it, so I am using that), when it starts loading extensions, the machine kernel panics. The machine no longer boots, but kernel panic's as soon as the Parallel's hypervisor extension is attempted to load (confirmed via verbose boot). I am wiping the machine now because I am sure all the kernel panics boned the file system but I am afraid if I try again, the same thing will happen. Has anyone ran into this issue on this specific machine?

nevermind, found the issue on Parallel's site.

There's another thread today on this same issue. Basically, P5 supports 32, but NOT 64 kernel on 12 cores.
