There are cheaper places for Mac Ram and Crucial is not one of them. :)

512 SO-DIMM = $ 96.98 USD

1 Gig SO-DIMM = $ 279.98 USD

If you can find a better price I would like to see it. :)

Crucial is always mentioned, but OWC is also a very reputable dealer. The have the 512mb for $94.95 and the 1gb for $294.99 (this is for Samsung memory, which some around here say is the RAM that Apple uses).

If you can afford it I would say get the 1gb, one can never have too much RAM. The type of memory is PC2700 DDR SODIMM 200 Pin Memory Module that you would use in the PB 12".
