Hey,
I just got my 2010 Mac Pro Octocore 2.4Ghz Mac with 6 GB RAM installed and was a bit disappointed at the speed. So I'm getting a 12 GB RAM kit from Kingston, so I was wondering if anyone knew if it would be compatible with my Mac Pro?
Here are the specs:
12GB 1066MHz DDR3 ECC Reg w/Par CL7 DIMM (Kit of 3) QR, x8 w/Therm Sen
KVR1066D3Q8R7SK3/12G
Standard 512M X 72 Parity 1066MHz 240-pin Registered DIMM (SDRAM-DDR3, 1.5V, CL7, FBGA, Gold)
Form Factor: Memory Module
Pieces Unit: 3 (Three 4GB modules, totaling 12GB)
Warranty: Lifetime
Any help would be highly appreciated! This Octopuppy needs some more juice :/
