Anyone know if a Quicksilver power supply would fit in a Gigabit Ethernet Power Mac? My rationale for doing this would be to get more power for various upgrades.

I wouldn't do that. The pinouts SHOULD be the same, but I don't know that they are. I also don't understand what power requirements you need that can't be met with the existing PS.
