For some odd reason when I startup in Panther and the white screen comes up with the gray Apple logo, the Apple logo then dissappears and shows a square thats all pixelated and grainy. It's only a slight problem and everything else seems to be running fine. Does anyone happen to have any clue what's going on?

Repair permissions, run cron scripts, tell your mac to take two aspirin and call you in the morning.

i repaired permissions and it didnt solve the problem. However after installing 10.3.7 it cleared the problem up.
