My gf bought an Ibook online and this is her account. Anyone has the same encounters?
I recommend her apple stuff and no prize to guess who gets to bear the blunt of her fustrations.
------------------------------------------------------------------
Is this the place where i can vent my frustration?*
Anyway, I bought an ibook online and it was delivered to me yesterday at 7:15pm. Upon inspection, I found that the ibook cover was scratched.
So I called 1800-MY APPLE today at 9:30am and MAX picked up my call. I explained to him my situation and expressed my concern that they might have mailed me a refurbished ibook by mistake and he told me to call 1800-800-2775, which I did, and the no. doesn't exist.
So I called 6835 1812, the technical engineers line and a DARYL picked up the phone and told me to call 1800-MY APPLE.
So I called back and a TRAVIS answered my call, I explained my situation all over again and he put me on hold for a long time and then told me he'd transfer me to the refunds department. And I was on hold again and a David picked up the line.
I told DAVID my story again and he said I was transferred to the wrong departmenta nd that he'd get the correct department to call me back in 5 minutes.
A bleak 20 minutes later, I called back 1800-MY APPLE again. And -gasp- MAX picked it up again. I was very frustrated at that point of time having come round a full circle and told him to transfer me to the correct department this time.
He put me on hold for 10 mins and another guy answered the call. His voice was too soft but I told him what happened and he told me to hold on. I asked who was on the line to which he REFUSED TO TELL ME HIS NAME and put me on hold promtly.
5 mins later, GRACE answered the call. That's the 6th person I spoke to in 1 hour. She promised to check with whoever-in-charge and call me back by 2pm today.
Please... anybody ever went through this b4? What can I do if she doesn't call back later??? Buying this ibook is a bold switch from pc to mac and this had to happen...*
