Also, you forgot about this upgrade:

:D
OWC will make it possible to upgrade from any current Mac Pro configuration to 3.33 GHz 12-core (and that speed is not even offered by Apple yet :P)

If one does the OWC Mac Pro Nehalem upgrade on the 8-core 2 x 2.26, do you ship the processor tray without the original chips or do they take them and do not return them when the do the exchange.
Just wondering.

you forgot to get a 1x5.25" to 8x2.5" for both ODD slots and fill it with the best OWC SSDs in RAID 100+0, so much throughput

That would be mind-blowingly fast. Hell, I'm content with my 7200 RPM drive (and so is my wallet :p )

Actually Raid 100+0 would be even better, 3TB storage with 2GB/s+ throughput (can't forget the fact that it has a RAID one level in it), but just the SSDs would be over $25K

Sweet... :D
I would have gotten the same Mac Pro in specs, for far much less money, and quite possibly (60%) with better specs.

My ideal machine would "only" be about half that - $10,000 but phew...
