Mac Pro 2010 Hex with 5870

Hello folks, I have ordered a MacPro Hex 333 with a 5870 weeks ago through my school. Originally it said 7 to 10 days....ship data Aug 23. Then it changed to "On or before September 8th". Still holding with that ship date. Apparently the 5870 is the bottleneck. Anyone have any info?? Thx
