i sent payment for this december 13th, he claims he sent it and i haven't received it yet. i wouldn't trust or buy anything from this guy. Mods, please prevent him from placing anything else for sale until this issue gets resolved.

I shipped item Dec 19, along with an ipod remote, which was recieved by the buyer. Maybe there was a mistake in the shipping address. I have no idea how this happened, you should have recieved it over a week ago for sure, I will contact the post office and see if they know anything.

Duff-Man says....hey mx, give the guy a chance to check it out. Remember, there have been holidays where there is no mail delivery and also this time of year the volume of packages the post office deals with greatly increases...there are going to be some slowdowns and some parcels do not make it in the normal time. I am waiting for a few cd's that are in the mail myself....gotta have a little more patience this time of year - the backlog usually gets sorted out this week......oh yeah!

Thanks for trying Duff-man! I did send it ground, which is 2-3 weeks, and it was sent on the 19 or 20th, and that is hardly the given time, not including the backup of holidays. Also paypal will take action in 10 days if i do not refund you the money. This is kind of ridiculous, It's not like you need this certain mouse, I'm sure you can wait a bit. I have bought things on eBay that take 3-4 weeks to ship, and if you think I'm trying to scam you I'm not. You can check my feedback score on eBay which is 100%, I would never try to scam someone because trust me i know what it feels like to get screwed out of money or have things stolen. Ebay name: wnameth

Thanks i hope you can understand the position i am in.

reasons red flags went off with me:

1) sending it 2-3 week ground without even asking me if i would be willing to pay more in shipping to have it shipped with a faster method
2) your refusal to respond to my emails
3) you only show a willingness to resolve the issue once PayPal and MacRumors authorities have been notified

a refund is a nice start, but what is $15 to clear your name with the macrumors community? i am just trying to protect something that has been built up by many and can me torn down by the carelessness of a few.

I responded to all your emails, i sold an ipod remote at the same time, and he isn't complaining about slow shipping.

you know the reasons i am concerned, and if you do get around to giving me a refund and for some reason i end up receiving the item, i will be more than happy to send you back the ful asking amount or the mouse. i am not doing this to screw you either, just trying to be safe. you sound like a straight up guy, but things could have been done a little differently.

OK, I will refund you on thursday because this when i get paid. Also, I am kinda a newbie with selling stuff on the internet, so i'll take this as a learning experience. Also was it really necessary to contact Paypal so soon?

Sorry for all of this, as i said I'm a newbie with this sort of thing, Thanks for understanding and also you saying that you will refund me if you receive the item, which most likely will happen. LETS HOPE!!!

i believe you need to contact PayPal within 30 days of payment or the statute of limitations runs out on the claim. and yes, you responded to my emails, but only after i contacted PayPal and MacRumors... which reeks of shady. i'm not trying to drag your name through the mud or anything, i just want MacRumors to be a safe place to trade for everyone... i want this issue resolved just as much as you do.
