Hi!

I am trying to capture some videos that were sent to me in a DVD format- howevere I have to extract portions of the DVD for the internet. I am wondering besides Hollywood Bridge (which I've own and hated, because it is unreliable) what other capture device tool is there out there that I can connect my DVD player to my Mac?

Is there a software available that i can just slot the DVD in, capture the segment, edit in iMovie and then export the clip as a mov for the internet?

What about Formac's Studio TVR? Is that good?

i appreciate any feedback.

Thanks.

🙂

you can also do it with el gato's eyetv 200. i am leaning towards getting that for myself, since you can use it to watch/record TV when you are finished encoding your videos. I believe formac's can do the same, but i would consider el gato a better choice IMO.
